GTBuy Guide: How to Buy from Weidian, Taobao and 1688 with GTBuy
New to GTBuy? Here's how the shopping agent works, how to order and ship your first haul, what to check in your QC photos, and where to find GTBuy links for 80,000+ Weidian products.
AgentsGTBuy is one of the newer shopping agents, and one of the simplest to use. If you've used Kakobuy, OOPBuy or Hipobuy, it will feel familiar straight away. Here's how to place your first GTBuy order.
What GTBuy does
GTBuy buys products for you from Weidian, Taobao and 1688, the Chinese marketplaces where most finds come from. Your items are delivered to GTBuy's warehouse in China, photographed so you can check them, and then shipped to you together in one parcel.
Step 1: Find products
GTBuy works from product links. The easiest place to find them is the GTBuy spreadsheet on ChinaFinds, with 80,000+ Weidian finds, the seller's photos and prices. Every product opens straight on GTBuy.
Shop by category:
Got a list of links from another agent? Paste them into the link converter, choose GTBuy, and they'll all be converted at once.
Step 2: Add to cart and pay
On the GTBuy product page, choose your size and colour and add the item to your cart. Before checking out, compare the size chart against your own measurements: our Chinese clothing size guide explains how. You pay for the items and delivery to the warehouse now, and for international shipping later.
Step 3: Check your QC photos
Once your items arrive, GTBuy photographs them in the warehouse. Check the QC photos for the right size, colour and details before you ship. This is your chance to return or exchange anything that isn't right.
Step 4: Ship
Combine everything into one parcel and pick a shipping line to your country. Compare a few lines: the cheapest isn't always the best if it's much slower or doesn't include tax.
